Ni-ni Generation!!

54 % of Spanish people between 18 and 34 years old haven´t any project to do in a close future. Sociologists say that those people try to avoid their responsibilities, so they don´t study either work. This is a strange behavior, because if you don´t want to study, you will have to work, but by now that doesn´t happen. Who is the guilty? Some people accuse to the World Crisis, another to the Educational System, other to the teachers and pedagogues and parents.
Eduardo Bericat (Professor at the Seville´s University) says that there is a relationship between State-Family-Young people. The State has to pay the education and the family has to pay the accommodation, leisure time. This situation cause the young people don´t know how to take responsibilities for themselves.

THE POLEMIC CUBE

If you ask to students of Biblioteconomy, they will say you that is very important keep the cube, because if you demolish, dissapear the reason of this university in this place.
The students say that in this place, deserted many years ago, now have very much life. Badajoz´s friends asotiation say that the cube break the line of Alcazaba, but in Paris, when built the Tower Eiffel, there was the same polemic and now is the icon of Paris.
The Rector of University of Extremadura say that this cube is very important for teachers and students, but for people of Badajoz too, because with this proyect, Badajoz recovery the old town and now can walk in this place. The investement in this proyect was very important for Badajoz and University, and now if the cube is demolish, the money have wasted and there aren´t anything.
The political of Junta Extremadura and city council are agree with not destroy the cube.
And you, are you agree?

Panama Experience!

I have to say that my Panama Experience was really nice!!

After a 12 hours travel by plane, Panama Cannal was waiting for us. We spent a lot of time working so hard, but we enjoy as well the trip and experience.

The people there were so kind with us, helping as much as the could. It was my first time there, so I could observe the country, the people, the diferent culture, the gorgeous views, the amazing Cannal.
It´s an incredible experience work there, in spite of a couple of problems that we had.

MY PERUVIAN EXPERIENCE

We did the first trip in January. When we arrived there, all the people were gratefully and they help us in our staying. The next two days we visited all the places that we could use for our school and finally we decided to build the school near the church. This trip was the most interesting because we met a lot of people that later will became teachers. On January 30th we finished the school. There had been working 30 men and 13 women. At the beginnings of February we came back to Spain and to our Institutes.
The Second trip was in April. It was more relaxed and calm than the first one. The objective of this journey was to choose people than could be teachers. In this trip, when we were in the selection process we had a visit of one of the most important person of Peru, the Peruvian president. And that evening, he invited us to his house and there we had a very good dinner. Two days later we went back to Spain.
The last trip took place from the first of July to the last of August, and on this time we were teaching to the native teachers. They were 7 women and 3 men who, nowadays, are teaching to 90 children between 9-15 years old. The last day of our adventure they prepared a party for all of us and they gave us a present. When we were taking the plane some of us were crying.

Personal experience

Two years ago, I lived the most important experience in my life.
I participated in a proyect, which began in Spain in 1999. It had a clear object, to educate to children who had lived a war,s experience. In 2004, the program was present in five South American countries.
In summer of 2007, I travelled to Peru with two friends. Our work consisted of educating to teachers which were born in Peru. There were 25 candidates, every one had to pass an intervew and a psicologist test. At the ends we chose 15 teachers.
The program consisted of teaching the writting and reading method.
During two months all people worked very hard, in spite of, the experience had fantastic. In my opinion the most important thing was not what I taught, the most important thing was the love received.
